Lets Stay Fit And Battle The Fats!

In a bid to stay fit and make it into the SIM tennis team, thought it was time to shed the holiday pounds. Officially started last Monday and so far I think I am doing a pretty good job.

Yesterday I completed a 7km run with my secondary school buddies Ian & Kenneth around Upper Pierce Resevoir which included up and down 6 slopes. Completed the run in under 40 minutes which was a significant improvement from the first time we ran a week before. That first time was a 6km run in 50 minutes and I struggled. This time round I felt good.

There were even monkey's cheering us on... literally. Ok more like they couldn't give a shit but still interesting.

I guess the hardest part about shedding the pounds is saying no to food when you have been used to eating good food over and over again.

I love tennis. So this is my way of training for the school team though try outs are many months away. It's my last chance to get the Gold :)
